This policy explains how Rhythm Pulse, published by RuiCodex, handles your personal data. The same text is available inside the app on the Privacy screen.
Data We Collect
The game does not require personal details: there is no account, and it never asks for your email address or location. You may optionally enter a display name that appears on the leaderboard; if you leave it empty you appear as “Player”. Do not use your real name — the name you enter is shown to other players. To stay free the game shows advertising through Google AdMob, and when an ad is served Google processes your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA) together with approximate location and device information. Where the law requires it, an option to change your advertising choice appears under Settings > Privacy options.
Where Your Data Lives
Your game progress is kept on your device. Records you send to the leaderboard — your display name, your score and the time of the submission — are also stored on our servers. “Reset Progress” in Settings erases the data on your device and removes your leaderboard entry; the submission record we keep for abuse review is retained with your name and IP address removed, under a random player identifier that is not linked to you. Uninstalling the app erases the data on your device but does not delete the record on our servers. For any further request, write to info@ruicodex.com.
Advertising
The game is free and funded by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To deliver them, AdMob processes your device's advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, device and operating-system information, and your interaction with the ad (impression, click, whether a rewarded ad was watched). None of this reaches us in a form that identifies you — we see aggregated performance reports only. Buying the "Remove Ads" item in the shop disables banner, interstitial and app-open ads; optional rewarded ads remain available if you choose to watch them.
Third Parties
Our only advertising partner is Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), through the AdMob service. You can review how Google uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543. We use no other analytics, tracking or data-sharing SDK.
Consent and Your Choices
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before the first ad is displayed. You may refuse personalised advertising; ads then continue to be shown without personalisation. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings > Privacy options.
Resetting or Deleting Your Advertising ID
On Android you can reset or completely delete your advertising ID under Settings > Google > Ads. On iOS you can withhold tracking permission under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; if you do not grant it, the IDFA is not shared. To erase your in-game data, use Settings > Reset Progress; uninstalling the app also removes everything stored on the device.
Leaderboard
The game offers an online leaderboard. When you submit a score, the following is sent to our server: your score, the mode you played, how long the run lasted, the display name you chose, and a random installation identifier the app generates for itself on first launch. That identifier only ties scores from the same device together; it is not linked to your name, your email, any account or your advertising ID, and it is not matched against anything else. Submitting a score is optional — if you do not, nothing is sent and the game keeps working entirely offline. Score records are kept for as long as the board is running; you can ask for yours to be deleted by writing to info@ruicodex.com.
Your Display Name Is Public
The display name you choose is shown to every other player on the leaderboard. For that reason, do not use your real name, email address, phone number or anything else that identifies you. You can change the name at any time in Settings. If you see a name that is offensive, abusive or contains personal information, report it to info@ruicodex.com — we remove reported names.
Children's Privacy
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Ads shown in the game are limited to the "G" (general audiences) content rating.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, the Turkish KVKK and comparable laws you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, or object to its processing. Write to info@ruicodex.com; we answer within 30 days.
